Mega Dice does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. There is no account, no server and no analytics.
Mega Dice is an offline photo organizer that files the photos you choose onto a calendar by the day they were taken, lets you tag them, and drafts captions from the date and tags. The pages that follow describe, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with the things you type into it.
None. There is no sign-up and no login, and the app has no way to send information anywhere. The display name you can type on the profile screen is stored on your device and is never transmitted.
For the app to work, the following is kept in the operating system's local storage, on your phone, and nowhere else:
None of it is uploaded. Uninstalling the app removes every byte.
Photos. The system photo picker opens only when you tap to add photos, and the app receives only the photos you select. It never scans your library, and on iOS it asks for photo access (NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription) only at that moment. Internet (Android). The manifest declares INTERNET, which comes with the standard Flutter project template. Mega Dice never uses it. The app does not use the camera, location, microphone or contacts.
None. Mega Dice is fully offline, with no HTTP client, socket code or backend. The sample photos that come with the app are bundled in the download, and captions are composed on the device from the date and your tags. No text or image is sent to any service.
None are integrated: no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or attribution SDKs. The app is built from open-source Flutter packages for local storage (sqflite, shared_preferences), photo picking (image_picker), charts, the share sheet (share_plus) and animation. None of them transmit data on the app's behalf.
Mega Dice collects nothing from anyone, including children under 13, so there is no personal data to protect, disclose or delete. It has no advertising, no in-app purchases and no way for users to contact each other.
Everything is on your device. You can remove any photo from the library, which also deletes the app's copy of the file, and rename or delete tags on the Tags screen. Clearing the app's storage in system settings, or uninstalling it, permanently removes the whole library with every tag, caption and preference. Nothing is ever transmitted, so there is no server copy to request or erase.
If anything in this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will be revised, and material changes will appear in the app's release notes.
